
The School-Age Program at Malmstrom Youth offers before and after school care. Enrichment activities are provided in an open and fun atmosphere. Activities include: arts & crafts, computers, dramatic play, outdoor recreation and more. Homework assistance is available. The program is accredited through the National After-School Association (NAA) and is available to youth in grades K-6. The staff is highly qualified, enthusiastic and committed to providing a safe, healthy and nurturing environment to meet the individual developmental needs of children. Participants are provided USDA approved meals and snacks. Transportation is provided to and from the following schools only: Loy, Lewis & Clark, Chief Joseph, Mountain View, and Morningside at an additional cost. You may choose to enroll in the before school, after school or before and after school sessions.

6:30 a.m. - Building opens/program begins
6:30 to 7:45 a.m. - Breakfast served
7 to 7:45 a.m. - Activity areas open
(Children have the choice of which available area they may go to.)
7:45 to 7:55 a.m. - Get ready to depart for school.
7:55 a.m. - Depart for school.
2:30 p.m. - Pick-up at schools start.
3 to 4 p.m. - Snack served.
3 to 5:30 p.m. - Activity areas open, group activities scheduled.
After School Care - Program runs from 2:30 to 5:30 p.m.

The Youth Center will be closed August 15 for the Base Picnic and August 29 for AFSPC Family Day.
*Note: AFI 34-249: Participants in Open Recreation must be 9 years or older. A parent or sibling over 16 years old must accompany youth, ages 6 - 8.
