Swimming Pool

The base swimming pool is open every day during the season, weather permitting. This outdoor facility has a 90' waterslide. Swimming lessons are offered for about eight weeks during the season. The pool also operates a small snack bar. Malmstrom personnel and their families are eligible to use the pool during open swim hours. Special times are designated for lessons, lap swimming, adult swimming and pool parties.

Adult lessons or private lessons are available upon request. Please contact the pool to arrange dates.

Swimming Pool Rules

  • Children 10 years of age and under must be accompanied by an adult 18 years of age or older. (AFI 34-268, para 3.5.9.1.)
  • Children that are not toilet trained must wear diapers specifically designed for swimming. (HS 48-14, para 2.1.1.1)
  • Children ages 11 to 13 must pass a swimming test in order to be left unattended. (AFI 34-268, para 3.5.9.1)
