Arden G. Hill Memorial Library

The Arden G. Hill Memorial library contains over 30,000 volumes, 95 paper-periodicals, over 600 periodicals available on CD-ROM or on-line, as well as CD-ROMs, CDs, cassettes, video and books on tape for check out and home use. Access to reference materials extends beyond the walls of the facility with services like FIRST SEARCH and access to Internet resources.

Practice Tests

Free online practice tests for the TOEFL, CLEP, ASVAB, GRE, GMAT, SAT, ACT, and GED are available through the Air Force Education Resource Center.

Displays

Tables are placed throughout the library with displays on a variety of subjects.

This month the tables will be highlighting Lewis & Clark, books on games, such as Chess, Scrabble Dictionary, Checkers, and Card Tricks, and books on Poetry.

The teen table has books from the “Redwall” series. Income tax forms are available, as well as new books, videos and DVDs. Stop by and check it out!

Tax Forms

Tax forms are available in the reference section of the library.

Databases

The library has a variety of electronic databases available for use by their patrons. The databases include Infotrac of the Gale Group, SiIRS Discoverer, SIRS Knowledge Source, Encyclopaedia Britannica (all academic), EBSCO auto repair, Newsbank Access (newspapers), Stratfor Premium and CountryWatch (information about other countries and world trouble spots), and Petersons which offers test preparation, scholarship information, and resume help. The library offers wireless Internet access as well as Internet access on our patron computers.
