The Grizzly Bend Club will be undergoing a significant transformation in the near future. The former Lewis & Clark Grill is being converted to an enlisted lounge, complete with a full service bar, three 52” big screen TVs, pool table, foosball and Wii games.
    In addition, the popular BuzzTime entertainment game system will be installed this fall; you’ll be able to play Texas Hold ‘em online against your friends in the club or participate in monthly events versus other Air Force clubs. Prizes will be awarded for the winners.

    The other great news is that the pub menu is being changed to offer many of the popular items currently being served in downtown restaurants.
    Now that there will be two lounges, it’s important that the names reflect the environment, so a competition is currently underway to name the lounge.

The winner for each lounge name will receive $50 in lounge credit to be used to purchase pub food.

    The patio is also being upgraded; the volleyball and horseshoe pits have been spruced up for your playing pleasure and now music is piped outside for your enjoyment. Also, the patio is now a no-hat smoking area.

    The downstairs meeting room is available for all types of meetings and private functions.
    Catering contracts are currently being developed to provide meals for special events and private parties.
    The lounge hours will be expanded in September with both lounges being open Monday through Friday from 3:30 to 10 pm.
    A grand opening of the new facilities is planned for September 26 beginning at 4 pm.
